Use WhatsApp on your browser, computer, Android tablets and other devices by linking them to your main phone. You can use up to four connected devices at the same time.
Your private messages, media files and calls are protected with end-to-end encryption. Each device connects to WhatsApp independently, while end-to-end encryption maintains the level of privacy and security our app users have come to expect.
You can learn more about end-to-end encryption in  this article . To learn how we collect, process and share your data, please review the  WhatsApp Privacy Policy.

Note:
You don't have to leave your phone connected to use WhatsApp on linked devices, but those devices will be disabled if you don't use your phone for more than 14 days.

Account security
Turn on push notifications on your phone. By turning on push notifications, you can prevent unauthorized devices from being linked to your account. If the device is unfamiliar to you, tap the notification to view and delete it.

Check associated devices regularly. Go to  Settings  > Linked devices to view all devices linked to your WhatsApp account. To sign out of the linked device, click Sign out . If linked devices are inactive for 30 days, they will be automatically disabled.

You can link your new device to your WhatsApp account using a phone number or by scanning a QR code.
